![]() | Hang the flash light in the ceiling with string that's long enough to make nice circles but with a decent distance from the camera lying on the floor facing up. A wired remote trigger helps. Set the shutter to BULB and a aperture to a large (small aperture) value (f/22). Give the flash light a small push and wait for it to start making good circles. (Circles are a little jagged in the beginning but become stable in few minutes) Take shots of different exposure lengths. Focusing while the camera lying on the floor is a challenge and mine are a little out of focus. But for pictures like these it doesn't really matter. Check out the photos in the slide show below. Light Circles
Here's a simple way to get nice light circles with a camera and a flash light.
